Dialysis concentrates have been manufactured in Neubrandenburg, Germany since 1984. In January 1991, the Swedish-owned Gambro group bought the factory and made heavy investments in the factory and in quality systems. Restructuring measures within Gambro resulted in the decision to withdraw from the liquid concentrates business. In order to retain manufacturing capacity of this critical dialysis constituent, the facility was sold to local management thereby creating MTN Neubrandenburg GmbH. All the employees of the newly founded company are fully aware of their critical role in assuring the dialysis fluid supply to patients throughout much of Europe.
It is our common obligation to take on this new responsibility and challenge.
The people of MTN Neubrandenburg GmbH are highly experienced - the majority having worked in the plant for more than 10 years. This is not only a sign of loyality. It is a strong indication of a healthy work environment based on pride and teamwork.
