Neubrandenburg (historically often: New Brandenburg, N. Brandenburg or Brandenburg; in Low German, a dialect spoken in northern Germany, Nigenbramborg, or curtailed Bramborg) is a city in Mecklenburg – Western Pomerania which is about 135 kilometers north of Berlin. Neubrandenburg is the third largest city and one of the four regional centers of the federal state.

Directions From Berlin-Tegel International Airport
Leaving the airport, turn left onto Saatwinkler Damm. After 200 m turn right onto the ramp to Hamburg / Reinickendorf, merge onto A 111. Continue on A 111 toward Hamburg. Leave the highway at the Oranienburg Intersection and take the main road B 96 direction Stralsund. Keep on following the signs for Stralsund on B 96 passing Gransee, Löwenberg, Fürstenberg to Neubrandenburg. Slight left on the roundabout Friedrich-Engels-Ring changing from B 96 to B 104. Turn right onto B 104 direction Rostock to Weitin. Continue on B 104 then turn right onto Otto-von-Guericke-Str. After 170 m turn left onto Friedrich-Schott-Str. and right onto Gustav-Kirchhoff-Str.
From Central Train Station Berlin
Berlin Tegel Airport is located just 8 km northwest of downtown Berlin. There is a train between the Central Station Berlin and Neubrandenburg every hour from 6 am. It takes about 1 hour 45 minutes. There are local bus services between Berlin Tegel Airport and the Central Station but the JetExpressBus is a quick airport shuttle service.
From Rostock-Laage Airport
Head toward A 19 direction Berlin. Take exit Güstrow/Teterow for B 104. Continue to follow B 104 pass Malchin, Stavenhagen direction Neubrandenburg. In Weitin turn left at the traffic lights to Zirzower Str. After 90 m turn right onto Friedrich-Schott-Str. and then left onto Gustav-Kirchhoff-Str.
