A Good Start
Continuing with a tradition does not just mean maintaining what is good and passing on experiences. It is also our duty to react in a thought through and innovative manner to changing market conditions. This is the only way that will enable us to continue producing successfully at our location in Neubrandenburg, the heart of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
As far back as the 1980s, the production of dialysis concentrate was taken up on our present day company premises. Just a few years later, the capacity created had to be transferred to the market economy system. As from 1st January, 1991, the production plant was taken over by the Swedish Company, Gambro. The machinery has been modernised step by step and the company has been able to establish itself on the world market.
Restructuring measures that took place within Gambro prompted the company in 2007 to take the decision to abandon the production of dialysis concentrate in containers and canisters. This gave us the opportunity to act independently locally. I seized this opportunity and I also saw in it an obligation towards the staff, who has contributed towards the company’s development in a motivated and committed manner.
In the end we, as MTN Neubrandenburg GmbH, have been able not only to convince our employees by the steps taken at that time, but above all to continue to guarantee our customers a smooth supply. As a company, we also see this as a self-imposed responsibility towards the patients.
We wish in the future to continue to bring first-class products on the market with the aid of a well-motivated workforce. We will be laying the foundations for this in the form of training courses, certifications and regular further vocational training.
We are looking forward to also convincing you of the same!
